ALS based Perimeter Security System

Area Laser Sensor based Perimeter Security System contains:

  • Area Laser Sensor (ALS)
  • Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Cameras (optional)
  • Control center (PC computer with special peripheral cards & software)

ALS, installed on the fence, allows detecting of an intruder before the fence and climbing up a fence. Sensors can be installed on the fence parallel to ground or in tilted position. It depends on surface topography and customer specification.

ALS based Perimeter Security System

Option 1

ALS is installed parallel to ground position. Detection zone of each sensor is 200m. This kind of installation is recommended in flat and free from rank vegetation areas.

Option 2

Other possible option - the ALS tilted to ground. It allows suiting ALS to any landscape. In this case detection range of ALS along the fence is 150m, and athwart to the fence is variable from 30 to 150m (depending on kind of relief).

Area laser sensor titled to ground

In this example ALS is installed on the fence, and it detects intruders in zone “B” before the fence.

Area Leaser sensor on fence

In standard installation, width of zone “B” may vary between 30 to 150 meters. Distance between two ALS’s (A) is about 250 meters, in case of a straight fence.

LGS (ALS is the enhanced version of LGS) is installed in parallel to ground and tilted to ground position.
